 Mini Video Tribute narratated  by Karen Morris

In March 1960, Frank Sinatra entered Capitol Studios in Los Angeles to record a variety of songs for his ever popular album, titled Nice n Easy. Arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle, it was Sinatra's 18th studio album.

Released in late July of 1960, along with a single of the title track, Both quickly became hits, with the album topping the Billboard chart at Number 1 for 9 weeks.

Besides the lightly swingin' Nice n Easy track, the romantic compilation is full of lush, exquisite ballads which Frank conveys with a relaxing tone but truly deeply. Intoxicating Songs like You Go To My Head. That Old feeling; How Deep is the Ocean; She's Funny that Way;

A collection of tunes previously recorded by Frank for Columbia back in the 1940s, but now revisited.

Sources say that the Nice n easy title song was a last minute add, in place of "The Nearness of You" which was to be the title track, but never appeared in original LP.

Alan Bergman and Marilyn Keith, the songwriting team, (who later married) penned the lyrics to Nice n Easy, with music composed by Lew Spence.

The duo also cowrote other noteworthy melodies such as Sleep Warm; That Face; Windmills of Your mind; What are you doing the rest of your life.

Nominated for multiple Grammys including best album, yet never winning, it did go on to receive gold record status, reaching sales of 500,000 units.

And now more than 65 years later, it continues to be a genuine favorite among Sinatra fans.
