Howard writes "The gift was for Dad filling in at the Carnegie Hall Benefit honoring MLK Jr. At the last minute Joey, for what ever reason, decided not to fly in for the show. Sammy called Dad, and he was happy to join them. These guys knew how to have fun! Of the hundreds of live shows I saw Dad do, this would have been at the top of my list of ones I wish I had seen.."
