Audrey Hepburn Mini Tribute!
Elegant and Lovely. Words that immediately come to mind when describing the award-winning actress Audrey Hepburn.

Her acting debut began on Broadway in 1951, receiving rave reviews for her portrayal of the stage version of Gigi.
A rising star, in 1954 she won an Academy Award for Best Actress for Roman Holiday, starring alongside Gregory Peck.


While accepting the Oscar, in a beautiful white floral dress designed by Edith Head, she referred to it as her lucky dress.

But most know Audrey as Holly Golightly in the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's, looking glamorous in the long black Givenchy gown and pearl necklace that made her a fashion icon.

Frank Sinatra often affectionately referred to Audrey as 'the princess'. In 1964 he made an uncredited, vocal cameo in her film Paris When It Sizzles, singing the opening song, The Girl who Stole the Eiffel Tower.

Frank and Dean Martin visited with Audrey when she was filming the drama, The Children's Hour and they were shooting the western Sergeants 3, on a neighboring set. All took a pic together along withShirley MacLaine, and Director William Wyler.

Audrey continued to grace the covers of fashion magazines as her movie career blossomed, appearing in Funny Face, Sabrina, My Fair Lady, Charade, Wait Until Dark and many more.


Later in life, she set aside her acting skills and took on a humanitarian role as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF,

and received the US Presidential Medal of Honor.
